Servant Leadership!

Quite a long time…isn’t it? I had to attend to a very tight and challenging schedule throughout last week. This made me reduce drastically my internet time. Not to worry, I am back not…for good!

Over the weekend, I facilitated a leadership training. This was a great moment for me as I had the opportunity to pour out my mind. I quickly want to give you a brief recap of what I shared with attendees.

Servant leadership is the best and greatest form of Leadership. Jesus examplified this act first in the scriptures when he offered to wash the feet of his disciples and he commanded them to keep on that way. I said, if you cannot stoop low, you will find it difficult to stand tall. Anywhere you find yourself do your best to serve the needs of others and not just yours. This was what people like Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa and others did that made them great today.

I went further to differentiate between Success and Greatness. Success is what you make happen for yourself while greatness is what you make happen for others. Therefore, greatest is impossible without an act of selfless service.

The training ended without a couple of questions coming from the attendees.

I hope to repeat this experience anytime sooooooooooooon!!!!!!
