There’s a cry…

Never walk away from someone who deserves help; your hand is God’s hand for that person. Don’t tell your neighbor “Maybe some other time” or “Try me tomorrow” when the money’s right there in your pocket.

You’ll never have a perfect time to give. You’ll never have ENOUGH to give, but that tiny little gift can be a life saver.

Contrary to popular belief, you can never have too little to give.

PAYBACK?

If you’re turning away your eyes from the less privileged now because all you have is little, hardly will you give when you have more. Giving only when you’re sure of a pay back? It’s still not real giving. Real men give without expecting to receive from the same source.

“You will reap what you sow” not “You will reap where you sow”. Two different things

“He that gives to the poor, lends to God”. Truth: God can never owe a man. This teaches us that the best form of Investment is giving to the poor. Low Risk, High Yield.

It’s always a good thing to be the reason for the smile of others. It’s always good to be the source of other people’s joy. Who will cry when you die? What will your death mean to humanity? In short, how will your burial ceremony be announced. Think about this for a second.

If we all give a part of our income back to humanity, the world will be a better place to live in. Your country doesn’t need the next millionaire. Instead, we need social entrepreneurs committed to good causes.

Men who are not motivated or driven by wishes of riches but men who are driven by the cry of the people.

Essentially, we are sent in response to the cry of many. Unfortunate that we turn deaf ears :(.

It only takes a good heart and a concrete decision to do good. Not millions or billions. You may applaud Bill Gates for giving a section of his wealth to charity. QUESTION: How much of yours is going to charity?

So long you can read this, what you have is just enough to do something. Yes, that little thing.

It may be that one jean you bought long ago still sitting in the corner of your wardrobe. Will you give someone who has nothing to wear? Be the source of someone’s joy.

5,000 naira can get a child back to school, only if you care enough. 5,000 naira can pay the hospital bill of someone. Visit a hospital before the end of the week and show someone you care.

giveI’ve seen people die after being rejected by a hospital for not being able to afford 20k deposit. Same 20k is spent on Suya in Yahuza.

Giving is giving; no matter how small.

This is not to encourage you to start your own NGO or Charity Org. Instead, it’s to gear you up for the necessary – Give! There are existing NGOs already. Find genuine ones and give the little you can give.

At the end, no one needs a NGO to do good. Show the poor roaming your street some love first. Then grow big in giving.

Again, all it takes to do good is a good heart and a STRONG decision

What will you do today? Just do something. Just do it! Give!

If you spend your next income ALONE, there’ll have been no sign that you read these piece. They’ll have made no impact. I’ll have wasted my time.

There are few good men. Their existence makes the society sane. Are you one of them?

FOOTNOTE: What can you Give?

Money, Time, Smile, Anything you’ve got that forms a critical part of other’s need.
