This is one of the major news I have been waiting to hear. Beni American University is set to take off officially on the 31st of July, 2012 at the Golden Gate restaurant, Ikoyi, Lagos, Nigeria, in partnership with EduNet Africa.
At the launch event, Beni American University seeks to answer pending questions from the stakeholders, as well as offer on-the-spot interviews for university placements. Promotional materials would also be distributed. Other participating institutions at the EduNet Africa Conference include University of Lagos, Pan African University. Supported by TechTrendsng.com and Nigeria Computer Society among others. The theme of the EduNet Africa conference for 2012 is Research and Education Networks in Nigeria: Opportunities and Challenges.
Before now, Beni American University ran it’s pilot course in “Technology Entrepreneurship (beta) in April 2012. If you didn’t take the beta course, then you missed a lot. The class interaction, the assignments and the overall knowledge gained is top notch. Trust me on that. Between, I have my certificate already :).
The launch event will stream live via a dedicated page on the BAU website, beniamerican.org, for people who may be unable to attend. You may follow the event word and the institution by following searching the hashtag – #beniamerican or through BAU’s dedicated social media channels: @beniamerican (Twitter), facebook.com/beniamerican
If you wish (you should) to attend the event, book your place here
I’ll be at the event too.
